1. Overview
Geometrix (“we”, “our”, or “the app”), developed by Wada Marcos Massaki, is a minimalist geometric puzzle game designed for iOS and iPadOS. We take your privacy seriously and believe in transparency. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use Geometrix, why it is processed, and your rights regarding that information.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
Geometrix does not require user registration or an account to play. We do not collect, request, or store your name, email address, phone number, physical address, or contact list during normal gameplay.
3. Local Storage on Your Device
Your game progress—including completed puzzle levels, highest unlocked stage, in-game coin balance, lives counter, and sound and haptic preferences—is stored locally on your device using standard Apple system storage (UserDefaults). This data remains on your physical device and is not synchronized to any personal user profile.
4. Third-Party Services and Analytics
To ensure smooth gameplay, maintain game stability, balance puzzle difficulty, and support the application, Geometrix integrates trusted third-party SDKs provided by Google:
Google Firebase Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics (provided by Google LLC) to collect aggregated, anonymous gameplay telemetry. This includes non-identifying in-game events such as level starts, level completions, restarts, hints used, and time spent on levels. This data helps us understand puzzle difficulty curves and optimize player experience. Firebase Analytics does not identify you personally.
Google Firebase Crashlytics
We use Firebase Crashlytics (provided by Google LLC) to identify, diagnose, and resolve technical bugs and crashes. When an application error occurs, Crashlytics records diagnostic technical data such as device model, iOS version, crash stack traces, and active level context (e.g., current level ID). This information is used strictly to diagnose stability issues and improve the app.
Google Cloud Firestore (Read-Only)
Geometrix connects to Firebase Firestore solely to fetch remote puzzle definitions, level balance updates, and developer broadcast messages. We do not write, upload, or transmit personal user profiles to Firestore.
5. Advertisements
Geometrix is supported by advertising via Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). The app may display banner advertisements, occasional interstitial transitions between levels, and optional rewarded video advertisements that players may choose to watch in exchange for in-game coins or hints.
Google and its advertising partners may use device identifiers (such as the Identifier for Advertisers “IDFA” if granted via Apple App Tracking Transparency, or system identifiers) to serve relevant or non-personalized ads, combat fraud, and measure ad performance.
Geometrix integrates Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to provide privacy choices and consent management for users in jurisdictions with applicable privacy regulations, including the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland under GDPR.
6. In-App Purchases (StoreKit 2)
Geometrix offers optional consumable in-app purchases (such as virtual Coin packs) to unlock in-game hints. All purchases are processed directly through Apple’s App Store via the StoreKit 2 framework.
We never receive, access, or store your credit card numbers, bank account details, or billing addresses. All payment processing, invoicing, and refunds are managed solely by Apple Inc. in accordance with Apple’s Privacy Policy.
7. Apple Game Center
If you choose to sign in to Apple Game Center on your iOS device, Geometrix may interact with Game Center to record your achievements and scores on leaderboards. All Game Center data is managed directly by Apple Inc. under Apple’s Media Services Terms and Apple’s Privacy Policy.
8. Children’s Privacy
Geometrix is a family-friendly geometric puzzle game suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate steps.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, app updates, or legal obligations. Any updates will be posted directly to this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
